The property was super clean! The rooms had towels, great showers, perfect AC and comfy beds. The staff was attentive. The location of this place is just perfect - right down the road and on the coast from where you see the sardine runs. The atmosphere is nice too - there's a little cafe on the water. I didn't eat there, but I did buy morning coffee there before heading out to the water.
The staff entered the rooms every time we left and reorganized our things. They had a lot of rules, like no food or drinks in the rooms, and they checked on us constantly.

I stayed at Shaka Traveler's Place for a few days while I was visiting Moalboal. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect, right on the coast and just down the road from where you can see the sardine runs. The atmosphere is great, with a charming cafe on the water. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting me with renting a motorbike at a reasonable price. The place was spotless, thanks to the constant cleaning, and the beds were huge and comfortable. I also appreciated the locks and cabinets provided for storing valuables in the room. I would definitely stay here again.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The twin beds room with sea view was amazing, with a beautiful view and a nice and big terrace. It was perfect at night to watch the sky and listen to the sea. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a good shower. There was also a second double bed for kids, making it perfect for families. The safety box provided an extra sense of security. The room was well-equipped with a boiler and fridge, and I appreciated that they provided free water bottles, coffee, and tea. The breakfast with a sea view was a great way to start the day.
There was no parking for scooters, as it would have been convenient for guests who rented scooters to explore the area. the road to the hotel was in poor condition, narrow, and bumpy, making it a challenging drive.

I recently stayed at Shaka Traveler's Place for a few nights and I had a fantastic experience. The hostel was incredibly clean and the bed was very comfortable with a thick mattress. What impressed me the most was that the bed came with both a small and a big towel, as well as a snorkeling mask! The breakfast options were cheap and delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel was perfect - just a short walk from the main road and close to all the action. Plus, the small sandy beach spots were great for snorkeling and I even saw turtles and lots of fish!
I can definitely recommend this hotel.
